Travel eSIM refund conditions to check before purchase
Refund eligibility depends on the order and the reason for the request. An unused eSIM is not a universal promise of a cash refund. Before paying, check the exact provider's policy, how installation affects eligibility, and whether a refund is money returned or account credit.

Airalo's stated methods are reason-specific
Airalo's refund help page says wrong-purchase and changed-plan requests use Airmoney credit in its available automated refund options. Installation or connection issues have different method choices. Expired or fully used orders are not eligible for that refund button. Read the live policy and your order; these details do not guarantee approval for every request.
If you notice the mistake before installation
Contact the provider before trying to use the package. State what you bought, what you intended to buy, and whether installation or use has occurred. Do not install simply to test a package known to be for the wrong destination. Ask how the action would affect the request.
If the problem is a failed connection
Record the location, phone model, error, and troubleshooting steps. Give support a chance to check the issue using its official process. Avoid publishing QR codes or account information in a public complaint. A technical problem and a change of mind are different reasons and should be described accurately.
What to ask about the outcome
Ask for the approved amount, refund method, expected processing time, and any remaining action. Account credit is not the same as cash returned to a card. If you need a replacement connection immediately, plan that separately rather than assuming a refund will arrive in time to fund it.
